The practice presently includes 4 locations in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains and Kentucky.    The practice currently has 6 physicians, 9 APPs and 2 aestheticians plus rotating fellows.   Physicians are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care to our patients and providing resident and fellowship education.   

Blacksburg, VA is home to Virginia Tech University with outstanding restaurants, culture, recreation, shopping, highly rated schools and lower cost of living than other parts of Virginia and consistently rated one of the best places to live in the US. 

This position is responsible for the human resources and development of a company’s workforce, and he/she must be able to transform all policies into executable plans and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining the nature and responsibilities of positions and the skills and knowledge necessary for them
  • Recruiting and onboarding talent
  • Managing employee benefits
  • Resolving workplace conflicts
  • Fostering a positive organizational culture
  • Aligning employee goals with business objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, addressing health, safety and worker-management issues
  • Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
  • Assessing reports provided by team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
  • Assessing employee job performance to provide feedback and use in determining promotions, salary increases and termination of employment
  • Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
  • Designing programs to reward employees for accomplishments and motivate them to continue performing at a high level
  • Designing programs and procedures to ensure that all candidates, employees, and customers are treated fairly and without discrimination
  • Overseeing exit interviews and procedure

Requirements: At least five years’ HR management.  College Degree and HR certification a plus. 

Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with experience - Excellent benefits including 401K with profit sharing.
